Everything you need as a team manager — in the right order. You'll be up and running in minutes; setup takes a few taps and the rest is self-explanatory. And since it feels like WhatsApp, your team is instantly at home.
Download Sportrs from the App Store or Play Store and tap Create account.
Pick Team manager as your role.
Search for your club by name. Not there yet? Just type your club name and we'll create it.
Pick your team or create a new one (e.g. "U11-2" or "Ladies 1").
Enter your first name, last name and mobile number. Abroad? Pick your country first, then type your number as usual.
Submit your sign-up.

Every sign-up is briefly reviewed to keep teams clean. You're usually approved within minutes (24 hours at most) — you'll get a notification automatically.
Log in without a password
Sportrs is passwordless. You enter your mobile number, get a secure login link, and you're in with one tap. Nothing to remember, and no one can log in without your phone.

Set up your team
The first time, a short setup wizard walks you through the basics. After that you manage everything under Team › Manage.
Check the team name and sport — the app adapts events, tasks and statistics to your sport (e.g. penalty corners in hockey, sets in volleyball).
Set a default format (11-a-side, 8-a-side, etc.). New matches then start with the right line-up.
Decide whether your team shares reports publicly (also on Commentada) or keeps them within the team.

Your team automatically gets separate chat channels: team chat, club news, marketplace and league chats. No more noise in one big group.

Invite players & parents
Add your team under Team › Manage › Invite. There are three ways:
From your contacts or by phone number
Pick players straight from your phone contacts, or enter a mobile number. They get an invitation and activate their own account.
Player without an account
No (mobile) number yet, or a young player? Add them as a player without an account. They still count in line-ups, attendance and statistics — you can add a number later.
Children under 16
Children under 16 are activated by their parent. Add the child as a player without an account and link the parent right away — they activate the child themselves with consent, and can even set a profile photo under My children.

Pending invitations appear in the manage overview — you can withdraw or resend them anytime.

Plan trainings
Go to the Calendar and tap + Training.
Pick the day, time and location.
For a fixed schedule, turn on repeat (weekly) with an end date — Sportrs sets up every session at once.
Holiday or a cancellation? Exclude single dates without deleting the whole series.

Players get an automatic reminder and confirm attendance with one tap.

Create matches
In the Calendar, tap + Match. A wizard guides you through a few screens:
Opponent — pick an existing team or type a new opponent. Does the opponent also use Sportrs? You can link them for accurate league standings.
Date, time & meeting time, plus home or away and the location.
Tasks — assign referee, linesmen, drivers and e.g. the snack duty right away. Whoever gets a task is notified.
Attendance — you can already set players' attendance here (or leave it empty; players respond themselves).
Line-up — set your starting players on a real pitch and put the rest on the bench. Your last line-up is remembered, so next time is quicker.

Need to change something later (date, line-up, tasks)? Open the match post in the team chat and tap the pencil — you jump straight to the right step.

Attendance & tasks
Once a match or training is in the chat, players (and parents on behalf of their child) respond with Present, Maybe or Absent.
As team manager you see at a glance who's coming, who's unsure and who hasn't responded.
You can also update a player's status yourself.
Assigned tasks appear for everyone under My tasks.

Log a match live
On match day, open the match and tap Start match. The clock starts and everyone sees the live score at the top of the app.
Tap an event (goal, card, substitution — or sport-specific like a penalty corner).
Pick the player involved straight from your line-up: tap them on the pitch.
For a substitution, choose who comes off (pitch) and optionally who comes on (bench). The line-up updates instantly.
Made a mistake? Tap a logged event to edit or delete it — the score and the chat follow automatically.
At the end, tap Finish and confirm the final score.

Several people can watch and log at the same time — handy when you're coaching and someone else holds the phone.

Report & after the match
AI match report — pick a writing style and let Sportrs write a report based on the match events. Edit it as you like and publish.
Photos & videos — add media to the report. No photo? AI creates a fitting cover image.
Man of the Match — start a vote in the team chat.
Publishing — the report appears on the team timeline, and (if you want) automatically on Commentada for family and supporters.
League standings & statistics update automatically from the results and logged events.

The more complete the results in your league (including teams not on Sportrs), the more accurate the standings. You can invite opponents to enter their own results.
